DESMODUR N3900

DESMODUR N3900 is a low-viscosity, aliphatic polyisocyanate resin based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. It has a NCO content of 23.5% and viscosity of 730 mPa.s at 23°C, making it an ideal hardener for weather-stable coating systems. As a hardener, DESMODUR N3900 provides benefits such as improved mechanical properties, chemical resistance and weatherability to coating systems. Its aliphatic structure makes finished coatings UV light and weather resistant. DESMODUR N3900 can be used to formulate high-solids systems for applications requiring durability under harsh outdoor conditions. It is compatible with various Desmodur and Desmophen products, and can be blended to achieve desired performance properties for different coating applications.
