BAYHYDROL UH 340/1

BAYHYDROL UH 340/1 is an aliphatic anionic polyurethane dispersion that provides flexibility and elasticity as a binder in highly flexible water-thinnable coatings. BAYHYDROL UH 340/1 can be used as the sole binder to formulate coatings for wood, metal, plastics and mineral substrates. It improves the elasticity and flexibility of water-thinnable coatings when used in combination with other binders. Coatings formulated with BAYHYDROL UH 340/1 exhibit elongation up to 500% and tensile strength up to 18 N/mm2 providing durable flexibility. BAYHYDROL UH 340/1 is compatible with many acrylic, styrene-acrylate and polyurethane dispersions. Coatings containing BAYHYDROL UH 340/1 have excellent adhesion and flexibility making it suitable for applications that undergo expansion, contraction and repeated movements.
