MONDUR MR

Mondur MR is an aromatic polymeric isocyanate based on diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI). It has a minimum NCO content of 31.0% and viscosity ranging from 150-250 mPas. Mondur MR polyisocyanate is primarily used in the manufacture of rigid foams due to its reactivity and density properties. As a single component system, Mondur MR provides advantages in applications requiring fast curing and high strength. Its dark brown liquid appearance and specific gravity of 1.24 at 25°C along with flash point of 199°C, makes it suitable for various coating formulations where durability and chemical resistance is important. Mondur MR must be stored between 10 to 30°C in tightly closed containers away from moisture to maintain its six months shelf life.
