ORAFTI ORGANIC OF is a food ingredient consisting of oligofructose produced by partial enzymatic hydrolysis from chicory inulin. It is obtained from chicory roots that have been grown and processed applying organic principles in accordance with applicable legislation. ORAFTI ORGANIC OF contains oligosaccharides composed of fructose units linked together by B-(2,1)-linkages. Part of the fructose chains are terminated by a glucose unit. The number of fructose and glucose units in ORAFTI ORGANIC OF ranges mainly between 2 and 8. ORAFTI ORGANIC OF is suitable for food applications as it provides prebiotic benefits and supports gut health.
