PANTHENOL 75%

Panthenol 75% is a 75 % solution of dexpanthenol (also called provitamin B5). It has a remarkably wide spectrum of benefits for skin and hair. Dexpanthenol increases cell viability and reduces senescence markers in cells, and maintains skin softness and elasticity. Dexpantenol is useful for its wound healing effect, resulting in more elastic tissue and a reduction of erythema, it stimulates epithelisation as well and is known for its skin smoothing effect. Dexpanthenol moisturises and reduces TEWL. Its anti-inflammatory effect on UV-induced erythema is a welcome benefit as well. In hair care it is used in order to stimulate hair growth.
