VESTAMIN IPD

VESTAMIN IPD is a cycloaliphatic diamine used as a hardener for epoxy resins. It is a mixture of two stereo-isomers of 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5- trimethylcyclohexylamine. VESTAMIN IPD offers benefits as a hardener for epoxy resins used in advanced materials applications. As a hardener for epoxy resins, VESTAMIN IPD produces materials with excellent chemical resistance, high heat distortion temperatures, and color stability. These properties make epoxy systems cured with VESTAMIN IPD well-suited for uses such as self-leveling and trowelable flooring, paving, concrete protection and repair. VESTAMIN IPD can also be used to produce non-crystalline specialty polyamides used in advanced materials, with high hardness and optical transparency when compared to other amines. It is soluble in a wide range of compounds, offering formulation flexibility for advanced materials applications.
