Ecovadis

IMCD is a proud participant in the Together for Sustainability (TfS) initiative, a programme founded in 2011 by six multinational chemical companies. It aims to develop and implement a global audit programme, using set criteria to assess and improve sustainable practices within chemical industry supply chains.

In 2019, the IMCD Group was awarded with a Silver recognition by EcoVadis in the TfS initiative. 

Lean & Green
IMCD joined the Lean & Green initiative back in 2011 with the aim of reducing our logistics carbon emissions. We became the first chemical distributor to receive the prestigious Lean & Green Star Award after successfully reducing our emissions by 20% in our first year.


Since then we have expanded our involvement in the initiative globally, utilising greener modes of transport and collaborating with our partners to promote sustainable solutions for a cleaner, safer environment. We continue to encourage our local teams to take an active role in selected sustainability initiatives. 

RSPO

IMCD has been a member of the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) since 2015. A non-profit organisation, RSPO unites stakeholders from seven sectors of the palm oil industry to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil.
