Crospovidone
Crospovidone is a water-insoluble synthetic cross-linked homopolymer. It is used as a tablet disintegrant in the direct compression or wet - and dry-granulation process. Crospovidone is white to creamy-white, finely divided, free-flowing, practically tasteless, hygroscopic powder. Larger particles provide faster disintegration than smaller particles.
