IMCD US aids families in need through holiday toy drive

Many families with children are grappling with financial worries this holiday season as Americans face inflation, economic challenges and thin budgets.

To help families in need in IMCD’s local communities, the IMCD US Corporate Social Responsibility committee hosted a Holiday Toy Drive and partnered with The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree and Holiday Giving programs to make a meaningful impact on children who would otherwise go without this holiday season.

As an outcome of the generosity of IMCD employees, more than 380 toys were donated to deliver smiles and joy to more than 125 children across the US this year.

“Thanks to the collective efforts of IMCD employees, our Holiday Toy Drive positively impacted the lives of many children in our communities,” said Tim Forthofer, Quality/Regulatory Specialist at IMCD US and Corporate Social Responsibility committee member. “Our team’s commitment across the nation has truly been remarkable.”

Here is a summary of the IMCD US Holiday Toy Drive community actions:

  • IMCD employees fulfilled the wish lists of 50 children through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program in the Greater Los Angeles and New Jersey/Tri-State areas.

  • Employees from IMCD offices in New Jersey, Ohio and California donated toys to local chapters of The Salvation Army that provided opportunities for families in need to shop for 2-3 toys to gift to their children. IMCD was pleased to partner with the following local nonprofit organizations:
    • The Salvation Army Northeast Ohio
    • The Salvation Army Whittier Corps
    • The Salvation Army New Jersey

IMCD US employees continue to work together to give back to the community during the holidays.
