IMCD US is certified as a Great Place to Work®

Over the years, many have studied the key strategies for hiring and retaining top talent. Recent reports have noted the importance of authentic employee experience contributing to company culture and therefore building a strong workforce.1,2

At IMCD US, we are continuously striving to create the best experience for our people, which we believe helps us in optimizing our actions as a partner of choice for both our suppliers and customers. In 2023, IMCD US employees participated in the Great Place to Work Trust Index™, an anonymous survey which measured the level of trust in our organization and the consistency of the employee experience.

We are pleased to share that the company-wide survey resulted in IMCD US’ first certification as a Great Place to Work®.

“It is great to see our team’s commitment in creating a workplace that embodies camaraderie, collaboration and respect. With our certification of being a Great Place to Work, we will continue to build on this momentum as we continue our journey,” said Jean-Paul Scheepens, President, IMCD US.

Survey results highlighted the inclusiveness of the company with 94 percent of survey participants stating that they were “made to feel welcome” when joining the company. Furthermore, IMCD US’ leadership was commended, as 92 percent of surveyed employees felt “management is honest and ethical in its business practices.”
“I love working for IMCD primarily because of the people. The relationships I have built over years have been special. I enjoy the interdepartmental camaraderie that I experience, even if we may not always interact on a regular basis. We all work as a team. Management truly cares about everyone, and the end result is we all take pride in our work and strive to do our best for our customers and IMCD,” said Julie Nichols, Senior Supply Chain Analyst, IMCD US.
IMCD’s corporate values guide our company culture and drive our actions, which foster an experience that 82 percent of employees at IMCD US say it is a great place to work, compared to 57 percent of employees at a typical US-based company.3

“In just a few short years since we established our coast-to-coast organization, we have taken our collective aspirations for what a great place to work might look like. Together, we turned that vision into our reality. This latest accolade captures our experience – IMCD US truly is a Great Place to Work,” said Ayanna Hughey, Vice President of Human Resources, IMCD US.
