AClyn Synthetic Waxes - Description

Honeywell’s AClyn® synthetic waxes are low molecular weight ionomers that can be used as lubricants in plastic processing and as dispersing agents for color masterbatch applications:

AClyn® 201A: Ionomer of an ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer based on AC 580, which is 47% neutralized with Calcium. Suitable for use as a dispersing agent for color masterbatch applications in engineering and styrenic resin systems. Supplied in powdered form.

AClyn® 285P: Ionomer of an ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer, based on AC 5120, which is 80% neutralized with Sodium, and is soluble in water. The sodium provides water sensitivity. This product can be used in temporary protective coatings. Supplied in pastille form.

AClyn® 295A: A zinc ionomer of an ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer which is 98% neutralized with Zinc. Zinc adds corrosion protection. Used as a pigment dispersing agent for color masterbatch applications in polar resin systems due to enhanced compatibility with the resin carrier. Supplied in powdered form.
