ALOX 2290AS

ALOX 2290AS is a highly effective corrosion inhibitor that can be added to oil or emulsified oils to provide excellent corrosion protection. The properties of ALOX 2290AS make it suitable for formulating water-based rust preventives, or for increasing the corrosion protection of metalworking fluids. To make a water-based rust preventive, a soluble oil concentrate can be made using a high concentration of ALOX 2290AS with a coupling solvent and dilution in naphthenic oil. To increase the corrosion protection of an emulsifiable oil or semi-synthetic cutting oil, use a 1-5% treat rate of ALOX 2290AS.
