Dekaben MEP - Description
Dekaben MEP is a mixture of Methylparaben, Ethylparaben and Propylparaben in Phenoxyethanol. The fungicidal activity of the parabens, in combination with the action of Phenoxyethanol, makes Dekaben MEP a broad-spectrum preservative, suitable for a broad range of personal care products.
The choice for the lower parabens would increase the solubility in water in comparison with higher parabens. Dekaben MEP would therefore be an interesting option for (clear) formulations with a high water content.
