DER 721 - Description
D.E.R. 721 is an aliphatic reactive diluent (C12-C14 alkyl glycidyl ether) designed as modifier for other aromatic epoxy resin systems and can be blended with them in any ratio in order to tailor system performance.
More information about DER 721
- Significantly lowers surface tension of standard aromatic liquid epoxy resins which results in excellent surface wetting, adhesion and lower viscosity at given filler loading
- The aliphatic chain reactive diluent typically increases pot life as well as flexibility (impact resistance)
- Although the reactive diluent limits the solvent resistance somewhat, acid resistance is improved.
