Duramac Long Oil Alkyds - Description
Duramac® long oil alkyds are characterized by oil content of 56% or greater, and are primarily used for interior and exterior architectural finishes and deck coatings. They deliver smooth brushing action with good flow and leveling. Long oil alkyds are soluble in aliphatic solvents and mineral spirits.
Key properties of long oil alkyds include excellent pigment wetting, gloss & appearance, excellent flexibility, and good gloss retention and durability.

Duramac 50-5003 is a TOFA based long-oil alkyd for use in architectural and industrial maintenance coatings. It has good brush/roll application and excellent appearance as well as improved yellowing resistance.
Duramac 50-5060 is a soya based long oil alkyd which can be used in a wide variety of trade sales and general maintenance coatings and can be formulated from satin finishes to very high gloss enamels. It has good flow and leveling and meets TT-R-266D, Type I, Class A.
Duramac 50-5070 is a soya based long oil alkyd which can be used in a wide variety of trade sales and general maintenance coatings and can be formulated from satin finishes to very high gloss enamels. It has good flow and leveling and meets TT-R-266D, Type I, Class A.
Duramac 201-1170 is a HAPs-free version of Duramac 50-5070, affording the same performance properties as well as meeting TT-R-266D, Type I, Class A.
Duramac 201-1180 is a TOFA-based long oil alkyd for use in interior and exterior architectural finishes. Its low supplied viscosity affords ease of use. Duramac 201-1180 offers good brushability and appearance, good pigment wetting, good weatherability, and improved yellowing resistance.
Duramac 201-1209 is a soya based long oil alkyd cut in Dimethyl Carbonate and has a VOC of 0.22 lbs/gal as supplied. It offers high gloss, excellent appearance, and can be use in a wide variety of architectural and industrial maintenance coatings.
