Hydreau - Description
Hydreau® alkyd emulsions deliver similar coating performance to solvent-based alkyd resins. This true alkyd chemistry in water allows formulators a Green chemistry option based on renewable resources than can produce coatings at near zero VOC’s.
Hydreau® polyester dispersions combine the high performance of polyester chemistry with the zero VOC capabilities of a dispersion. Unlike conventional emulsions, these water-based dispersions contain no surfactant to interfere with coating performance.

Hydreau 1121 is a linseed oil-based long oil alkyd that has been emulsified in water. It can be formulated into near zero VOC stains and coatings and can deliver superior performance in appearance, penetration and dry time. It can be used for a wide range of architectural interior and exterior applications, exhibiting excellent color compatibility and shelf life.
Hydreau 290-1201 is a polyester dispersion designed for 2K coating systems with low isocyanate demand. The resulting film exhibits excellent gloss development, hardness, and chemical resistance. This resin can be used for industrial maintenance applications and specialty coatings for various substrates. It can be with no additional solvent resulting in near zero VOC coatings.
Hydreau 290-3320 is a polyester dispersion designed for polyester melamine or benzoguanamine baking enamels. It can be formulated into baking primers, topcoats and can coatings when crosslinked with melamine formaldehyde or phenolic formaldehyde crosslinkers. Coatings based on Hydreau 290-3320 exhibit excellent toughness, hardness, chemical resistance and durability and can be formulated with no additional solvent resulting in near zero VOC.
Hydreau 290-3321 is a phenolic modified polyester dispersion designed for interior and exterior food can applications. It can be formulated into baking primers, topcoats and can coatings when crosslinked with melamine formaldehyde or phenolic formaldehyde crosslinkers.
