- Shows relatively little viscosity change over a wide temperature range
- Stable over a wide pH range
- Compatible with high concentrations of salts and surfactants
- Can fully hydrate in high salt systems (e.g., 2-20% NaCI) where performance of standard grades is unpredictable
- Stable to high-shear processes
- Ideal for use in formulations where high clarity is desired
- Enhances the stability of emulsions and suspensions
- Controls flow during and after application to the skin
- Provides a light, silky skin feel
- Thins during processing, then quickly recovers its viscosity
- Eliminates problems with incomplete gum hydration in high salt systems
- Will hydrate faster than standard grades in low salt systems (e.g., 1 - 2% NaCI)
- Acid/salt tolerance provides more flexibility with respect to order of addition
- Kosher and Halal approved
