Kollidon® 12 PF & 17 PF

Kollidon ® 12 PF and Kollidon ® 17 PF are soluble, low molecular, and endotoxin controlled Povidones primarily used to stabilize micro-molecular structures in injectables and lyophilisates. They can also form hydrogen bonds with compounds with complementary structures for improved dissolution and act as solubilizing agents and crystallization inhibitors particularly for injectables.

In the area of Instant & Modified release these polyvinylpyrrolidone grades serve as pore formers in solid oral dosage forms with sustained release. Additionally, these grades of PVP act as solubilizers and crystallization inhibitors in oral liquids, and solids, including soft gels.
