Lindride 14 - Description

LINDRIDE 2 series anhydrides are mixtures of the isomeric forms of Methyltetrahydrophthalic Anhydride (MTHPA). These anhydrides have complete solubility in liquid epoxy resins. In the absenceof promoters, the resulting solutions are stable for extended periods of time at room temperature. When promoted (typically with small amounts of nitrogen compounds such as Benzyldimethylamine, DMP-30, Imidazole Derivatives, or Quaternary Ammonium Compounds) and heated, they are converted to cross-linked polymers which find utility in a wide variety of applications, including casting, potting, filament winding, resin transfer molding and encapsulation. The vacuum-grade of LINDRIDE 4 is LINDRIDE 14.

More information about Lindride 14

  • Blend readily with epoxy resins at normal temperatures
  • In the absence of promoters, the resulting solutions are stable for extended periods of time at room temperature
  • In the presence of promoters and at elevated temperatures, however, they are converted to highly cross-linked polymers with excellent physical and electrical properties
  • Low viscosity resin mix
  • Low toxicity
  • Extended pot life
  • Low volatility
  • Low shrikage
