LOCKSOL N 5409

LOCKSOL N 5409 is a package of ingredients meant to provide a finished soluble oil product when diluted into naphthenic oil. This product provides the emulsification, corrosion protection, foam control, and lubrication required from a premium soluble oil product. The typical treat rate of LOCKSOL N 5409 is 18%. This provides an exceptional soluble oil product when cut back into water at 5%. Depending on the application, it can be used at higher or lower concentrations. LOCKSOL N 5409 has been carefully balanced to emulsify naphthenic oils. It is unlikely to work when used witha paraffinic base oil. For paraffinic group I oils, SOLUBLE BASE GT-1900S is recommended, while LUBRIZOL MC9444 is recommended for paraffinic group II oils. LOCKSOL N 5409 is compatible with many extreme pressure additives including sulfurized olefins and chlorinated paraffins. It is also compatible with many complex esters and phosphate esters. LOCKSOL N 5409 can be protected with the addition of a biocide like CONTRAM ST-1.
