MIRASIL DM 1000 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a low viscosity and low molecular weight. This emollient is non-greasy and affords a silky touch along with excellent water resistance.
MIRASIL DM 1000 is generally used in combination with other ingredients to form beauty care products, either anhydrous formulations or emulsions. In emulsions, it is easy to mix with emollients and emulsifiers, oil phase, and heat stable during oil in water emulsification process.
