Description

Daikin FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene copolymer) is a melt processible fluoropolymer. Although it is lower melting than PTFE, it still maintains a continuous service temperature of 200 Deg C. Because FEP is fully fluorinated like PTFE, it is extremely inert, has excellent electrical properties, high chemical stability, low friction, excellent long term weathering and very good low temperature properties. It is used in high speed wire insulation, cable jacketing, extruded film, blown film, sheet extrusion, tubing, heat shrinkable tubing, catheters, molded parts, and equipment and pipe linings. Daikin provides a wide range of melt flow indexes to choose from, as well as standard copolymer grades and modified copolymer grades that have improved mechanical properties.


Neoflon FEP ND-110: An aqueous dispersion manufactured without the use of PFOA.  ND-110 is normally used for impregnation. Glass fiber matting and sintered metal alloys with porous layers are examples of the substrates that can be used.  It can also be used in the manufacturing of cast films.



Neoflon FEP NP-20: Developed for extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable, appliance wire, thin film and tubing, etc. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-30: Developed for extrusion of cable jacketing, tubing, and film.



Neoflon FEP NP-40: Developed for extrusion and compression molding applications where superior stress crack resistance is desired.



Neoflon FEP NP-101: Developed for high-speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulation. It may also be used for small tubing and injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-102: Developed for high-speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulation. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-107: Developed for high speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulations. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-108: Developed for high-speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulation. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-112: Developed with improved stress crack resistance and improved extrusion speed for extrusion of wire insulation for appliance wire, plenum cable insulation, tubing, and film, etc. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-120: Developed for higher extrusion speeds than conventional FEP and applications where superior stress crack resistance is desired.



Neoflon FEP NP-130: Developed for extrusion and compression molding applications which require higher degree of stress crack resistance.



Neoflon FEP NP-1105: Developed for high-speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulation. It may also be used for small tubing and injection molding of thin wall parts.



Neoflon FEP NP-1108: Developed for high-speed extrusion of thin coatings of small wire sizes such as plenum cable insulation. It may also be used for injection molding of thin wall parts.
