Description


Nuosept biocides are wet state (in-can) preservatives designed primarily to control bacteria, as well as yeast and fungi where needed to prevent deterioration and spoilage during the manufacture, storage and service of aqueous products.



Nuosept 44: In-can preservative which is a 50% aqueous, non-chlorinated solution and provides broad spectrum activity across a wide pH range in aqueous systems. Nuosept 44 is non-yellowing and at typical use levels it is non- irritating and non-sensitizing to skin.



Nuosept 91: In-can preservative which is a water-soluble, liquid organic biocide recommended for use as an industrial preservative for the protection of water-based systems. It is particularly useful for high pH applications.



Nuosept 95: In-can preservative which is a 50% aqueous solution of non-metallic, non-chlorinated organic compounds designed for use as a preservative in water-based products. Nuosept 95 is effective at low dosages, non-yellowing, has excellent compatibility, and can be added at any point during the manufacturing process.



Nuosept 497G: In-can preservative which is a VOC-free glycolic solution based on based on 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT). Nuosept 497G is Formaldehyde-free, stable in highly alkaline products and at high temperatures, non-settling, freeze-thaw stable, and broadly compatible with aqueous systems.



Nuosept 498: In-can preservative which is an aqueous dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). BIT is a nonmetallic, non-chlorinated, formaldehyde free biocide. The spectrum of antimicrobial activity for Nuosept 498 includes a wide range of commonly occurring bacteria, yeast and fungi and is not dependent on pH. It is stable and effective over a wide pH range (4-12). Nuosept 498 is, odorless, non-settling, freeze-thaw stable, may be incorporated into a product during any step of the manufacturing process and is broadly compatible with aqueous systems.



Nuosept 498G: In-can preservative which is an aqueous dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). BIT is a nonmetallic, non-chlorinated, formaldehyde free biocide. Nuosept 515RX: In-can preservative which is a combination of 2-methyl-2H-isothiazole-3-one (MIT) and 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT) for use as a preservative in water-based products. It is a high performance liquid biocide which offers a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against wet-state degradation caused by mold, yeast and bacterium. Nuosept 515RX is effective over the entire pH range normally encountered in paints. It does not impart color or odor and it contains no formaldehyde or organic solvents



Nuosept BMc-412: In-can preservative based on a combination of 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT), 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT) and low contents of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT). These three active ingredients have complementary properties thus affording a well-balanced broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Nuosept BMc 442 in-can preservative does not contain any formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors and is VOC-free.



Nuosept BMc-422: In-can preservative based on a combination of 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT), 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT) and low contents of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT). These three active ingredients have complementary properties thus affording a well-balanced broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Nuosept BMc 442 in-can preservative does not contain any formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors and is VOC-free.
