Description

Daikin PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has the highest melting point and lowest friction, and is the most inert of all the fluoropolymers. It has a continuous service temperature rating of 260 Deg C (500 deg F). Molding powders are excellent, fine cut granular resins, well suited for a variety of demanding chemical, mechanical, electrical and non-stick surface applications. Molding powders are available in homopolymer and modified grades. Typical applications include thin skived film for electronic parts, laboratory equipment, gaskets, diaphragms, O-rings, slide bearings, V-rings, pump parts, seals, sheet lining, mold release films, filled compounds, bellows, impellers, containers and high purity bags.


Polyflon PTFE M-12: Polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular fine cut resin. This general purpose molding powder has been specifically designed for use in small to medium billet compression molding. It is particularly well suited to thin skived film applications requiring excellent physical and electrical properties.



Polyflon PTFE M-17: Polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular fine cut resin. This general purpose molding powder has been specifically designed for use in medium to large billet compression molding.



Polyflon PTFE M-18: Polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular fine cut resin. This general purpose molding powder has been specifically designed for use in medium to large rod and billet compression molding applications.



Polyflon PTFE M-111: Modified polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular fine cut resin. This next generation molding powder has been specifically designed for use in small to large billet compression molding. It is particularly well suited for sheet lining, gasket and compression applications. It exhibits excellent creep resistance and weldability characteristics.



Polyflon PTFE M-112: Modified polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular fine cut resin. This next generation molding powder has been specifically designed for use in small to large billet compression molding. It is particularly well suited for flex applications, such as diaphragms and bellows, that require an extended service life compared to that of conventional PTFE. It exhibits excellent creep resistance and weldability characteristics.



Polyflon PTFE M-532: Polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular free flow resin. M-532 has excellent powder flow characteristics and may be used successfully for compression molding, automatic molding, isostatic molding and ram extrusion applications.



Polyflon PTFE M-532C: Polytetrafluoroethylene virgin granular free flow resin. M-532C has excellent powder flow characteristics and may be used successfully for compression molding, automatic molding, isostatic molding and ram extrusion applications.
