Polymac HS Saturated Polyesters

Polymac HS 57-5761 is a high solids polyester resin designed for industrial baking systems. Coatings based on this resin exhibit excellent salt spray performance and application at high solids. Film properties achieved include excellent flexibility and good adhesion.

Polymac HS 57-5763 is a high solids polyester for industrial baking enamels. Coating systems based on this resin exhibit good gloss and hardness coupled with low application viscosity. The resin as supplied is solvent-free and can be formulated to 80% volume solids coatings.

Polymac HS 57-5776 is a HAPS free high solids polyester exhibiting outstanding overall performance coupled with excellent gloss retention and durability, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent adhesion to metal and plastic substrates, excellent flexibility and good chip and mar resistance. Enamels formulated with Polymac HS 57-5776 are suitable for interior and exterior applications and can be crosslinked with melamine for use in baking enamels or with isocyanates for 2K urethane systems. It can be formulated to 2.8 lbs/gal (340 g/L) VOC.

Polymac HS 57-5778 is a high solids water-extendable polyester that features excellent gloss, mar and abrasion resistance, excellent overbake resistance, and flexibility and hardness. Additionally Polymac HS 57-5778 is water extendable and can be thinned (up to 30% of total solvents) by water, which gives the capability to formulate at low VOC while retaining excellent application properties.

Polymac HS 57-5782 is a high solids polyester resin designed to be crosslinked with melamine resins for industrial baking applications. Coatings formulated with this resin exhibit excellent gloss, hardness and good mar resistance. It has high megohm resistance making it suitable for electrostatic spray applications and the very high solids level allows broad formulation latitude.

Polymac HS 57-5786 is a high solids silicone polyester designed for industrial baking enamels. Coating systems based on this resin exhibit excellent gloss, hardness, flexibility, and exterior durability along with good mar resistance. High solids enamels formulated with this resin are suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Polymac HS 57-5789 is a HAPS free high solids polyester exhibiting outstanding overall performance coupled with excellent gloss retention, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and adhesion to metal substrates, plastics and sheet molding compound. Enamels formulated with Polymac HS 57-5789 are suitable for interior and exterior applications and can be crosslinked with melamine for use in baking enamels or with isocyanates for 2K urethane systems. It can be formulated to 2.8 lbs/gal (340 g/L) VOC.

Polymac HS 220-2010 is a HAPS free high solids aliphatic polyester featuring high gloss and excellent clarity and color as well as good DOI and good flow & leveling. It is designed to provide 2.8 VOC compliant coatings that exhibit superior weatherability, excellent durability and excellent chemical resistance (including Skydrol resistance). Polymac HS 220-2015 is an excellent blending resin for acrylics and similar resins to enhance film performance and VOC in either 2K urethane systems or melamine cured bake coatings.
