Rezimac® HS phenolic modified resins are used in both industrial and architectural finishes, either alone or as a reinforcing resin to be blended with other alkyd resins. Phenolic modification to an alkyd resin increases the resin’s resistance to water, lifting, alkali materials, oils and abrasion. They yield films that are characterized by their toughness, chemical and corrosion resistance, and rapid-dry properties.
Rezimac® HS silicone modified alkyds are a specialized series of products used in both industrial and architectural finishes to formulate coatings that require excellent durability, toughness, abrasion and heat resistance.
Rezimac® HS epoxy ester resins are alkyd resins that have been modified with epoxy, which produces a resin that is saponification resistant, as well as tolerant of strong solvents when recoated. Because of the epoxy component, they adhere well to various substrates and have excellent corrosion resistance making them ideal for use in primers, but resistance to UV light is limited.
Rezimac 57-5703 is a high solids phenolic-modified medium oil alkyd resin recommended for use in drum and toy enamels or fast air-dry metal primers. Coatings formulated with this resin exhibit good gloss, excellent water resistance, adhesion and rapid tack-free times.
Rezimac 57-5747 is a HAPS free high solids silicone-modified alkyd resin designed for air-dry industrial applications where excellent exterior gloss and color retention are critical. This resin features excellent gloss retention, flexibility, and exterior durability. It can be formulated to meet MIL-E-24635B.
Rezimac 57-5754 is a high solids phenolic-modified alkyd resin designed for use in industrial or industrial maintenance air-dry finishes. Coatings based on this resin exhibit rapid-dry characteristics coupled with excellent salt spray and topcoat lifting resistance. It can be formulated to meet TT-P-664D.
Rezimac 57-5839 is a HAPS free high solids epoxy ester resin designed for industrial air or force-dry enamels with adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including plastics. Film properties achieved with this resin include excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance, and humidity resistance coupled with very good gasoline resistance.
Rezimac 57-5861 is a high solids silicone modified alkyd resin designed for use in maintenance and architectural air dry enamels meeting 380 g/L VOC restrictions. This resin features excellent exterior durability and gloss retention coupled with heat resistance.
Rezimac 207-1915 is a high solids urethane modified and chain-stopped alkyd resin featuring excellent dry time, good gloss retention, and good exterior durability.
Rezimac 207-2754 is a fast drying HAPS free high solids phenolic modified alkyd resin designed for use in industrial or industrial maintenance air-dry finishes. Coatings based on Rezimac 207-2754 exhibit rapid-dry characteristics combined with excellent salt spray, corrosion resistance and topcoat-lifting resistance. This resin can be formulated to meet TT-P-664D.
Rezimac 216-2034 is a high solids low viscosity tung/phenolic resin for use in wood stains and varnishes. This resin features good adhesion, water and alkali resistance, exterior durability and excellent toughness.
