SOLUBLE BASE GT-1200S - Description
SOLUBLE BASE GT-1200S is an additive package for making emulsifiable oil (soluble oil) metalworking fluids. It is intended to be used as a base package with oil, biocides, and other additives added to formulate a differentiated finished fluid.
SOLUBLE BASE GT-1200S is a balanced formulation of sodium sulfonate, PIBSA, and fatty acid soaps that is specifically formulated to emulsify paraffinic group I base oil. It also contains corrosion inhibitors and alkalinity to properly provide ferrous metal corrosion protection. The typical treat rate used is between 16-20% in a typical emulsifiable oil concentrate.
