Vertal 503

Vertal products are highly lamellar talc mineral pigments that provide a unique balance of opacity, flatting, film reinforcement and barrier properties to architectural paints and universal/stain-blocking primers. They can also be used in plastics as a cost-effective reinforcing agents to improve stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability.

Vertal 503 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment that provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing(opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings.

Vertal 503 is especially suited for waterborne paints and primers where a 5-Hegman, low oil-adsorption, platy mineral pigment is required.
