Vilvanolin™ L-101

Emollients are used in topical preparations to impart lubrication, spreading ease, texture, and softening of the skin. They also counter the potentially drying or irritating effects of surfactants on the skin. This product is a multi-sterol extract containing only select lanolin sterols and higher alcohols in their free form only. This lanolin derivative is compexed with mineral oil and is an effective oil-in-water emulsifiers and solubilizer and is recommended for use in topical products including creams, lotions and pharmaceutical vehicles. Typical usage level is 5-10%.
