LUZENAC 2

LUZENAC 2 is a grey, lamellar talc recommended for use in recycled polypropylene and other advanced materials. It has a median diameter of 14.2um and D95 of 50.0um making it suitable for applications requiring tight particle size distribution. LUZENAC 2 offers benefits like high whiteness of Y 73.9, L* (CIE) 88.9 and specific gravity of 2.78 g/cm3. These properties enhance opacity and mechanical strength in final products. Its Mohs hardness of 1 and loss on ignition at 1050°C of 9.4% provide characteristics needed in certain advanced material formulations. LUZENAC 2 is tested to have less than 2% residue above 40um making it well-suited for processes with strict quality parameters.
