PROTECTOSIL WS 808

PROTECTOSIL WS 808 is an oligomeric propyl siliconate/silicate concentrate that provides water-repellent and consolidation properties for mineral substrates. As a water-based, VOC free product, PROTECTOSIL WS 808 is especially suited for low-fired clay substrates and various natural stones, sandstones and gypsum used in advanced material applications. It protects mineral construction materials from rising damp and significantly reduces water uptake and soluble salts. PROTECTOSIL WS 808 generates water-vapour permeable, colourless surfaces and significantly reduces the formation of white deposits on equipment and containers. Treated surfaces can be cleaned with water. It is resistant against alkaline environment and suitable as binder for silicate-based paints. PROTECTOSIL WS 808 is intended for waterproofing of mineral substrates, in particular roofing tiles and common brick used in advanced material manufacturing.
