SYLVARES TP 2040 is a thermoplastic terpene phenolic resin designed for tackifying hot melt adhesives to provide superior adhesion and thermal-stability properties. It is soluble in aromatic solvents like toluene, esters and ketones like ethylacetate and acetone. SYLVARES TP 2040 provides excellent thermal stability and compatibility with EVA, some acrylics and some polyurethanes. These properties make SYLVARES TP 2040 ideal for applications in the advanced materials industry that require adhesives with high heat resistance and bond strength such as automotive, aerospace and electronics component manufacturing.
