VESTAMIN IPD

VESTAMIN IPD is a cycloaliphatic diamine used as a curing agent for epoxy resins. It is a mixture of two stereo-isomers of 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5- trimethylcyclohexylamine. VESTAMIN IPD produces hardeners with low viscosity and humidity resistance for solventless, room temperature curing epoxies. Epoxy systems cured with VESTAMIN IPD based hardeners exhibit excellent chemical resistance, high heat distortion temperatures, and color stability. These properties make it suitable for flooring systems, civil engineering applications such as paving and concrete protection where durability and mechanical strength is required. VESTAMIN IPD can also be used in coatings for superior corrosion protection of structures.
