BAYHYDROL 110

BAYHYDROL 110 is an anionic dispersion of an aliphatic polyester urethane resin in water/n-methyl-2- pyrrolidone. It is a milky white to brown liquid with a specific gravity of 1.07 at 25°C. BAYHYDROL 110 polyurethane dispersion can be used in the formulation of ambient-cure or bake coatings for a wide range of rigid and flexible substrates. This product has been developed to exhibit a combination of film hardness, flexibility, good water and abrasion resistance, and excellent solvent resistance. These properties make BAYHYDROL 110 suitable for applications requiring durability and protection from weathering. BAYHYDROL 110 forms a clear film with high tensile strength and elongation at break providing protection from damage. The film also exhibits very good hydrolytic stability retaining most of its original tensile properties even after a week in hot humid conditions. This ensures the coating maintains its integrity for a long lifespan.
