PROXEL® GXL is a broad-spectrum preservative containing 20% 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) in an aqueous dipropylene glycol solution. It is designed to protect water-based formulations against spoilage caused by bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. The product is commonly used in household cleaners, industrial and institutional cleaning products, laundry additives, car care products, and other aqueous formulations requiring in-can preservation.
