KELZAN

KELZAN is an industrial grade of xanthan gum used in various industrial solutions. KELZAN features high viscosity under low-shear conditions and low viscosity under high-shear conditions, making it suitable for industrial processes. It is non-thixotropic and compatible with high concentrations of electrolytes like salts. KELZAN remains stable over a wide pH range and high-shear processes. It controls liquid flow on surfaces and prevents phase separation in suspensions and emulsions. KELZAN ensures products remain free-flowing throughout their shelf-life and enhances stability of foams. It is typically used in cleaning solutions, pesticide concentrates, pigment suspensions and more between 0.1-0.5% by weight. KELZAN disperses easily in water and provides benefits like controlled flow and stability in various industrial formulations.
