Vertal 77

Vertal products are highly lamellar talc mineral pigments that provide a unique balance of opacity, flatting, film reinforcement and barrier properties to architectural paints and universal/stain-blocking primers. They can also be used in plastics as a cost-effective reinforcing agents to improve stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability.

Vertal 77 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment that provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings.

Vertal 77 is especially suited for waterborne primers, stain-blocking primers, sealers and undercoaters where a higherbrightness and lamellar mineral pigment is required.
