MICRAL 855
Micral 855 alumina trihydrate is a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Micral 855 is a full performance and price competitive alternative to fine particle precipitated alumina trihydrate. It has been designed for rapid and complete dispersion in polyethylene and ethylene copolymers. Thermoplastic or cross-linked compounds made with Micral 855 show low viscosities which result in favorable processing, particularly at high filler loadings. Applications include wire and cable jacketing and insulation and injection molded and extruded polyolefins.
