DYNASLYAN HYDROSIL 2776 is a reactive organofunctional siloxane oligomer in water that provides adhesion promotion between inorganic materials like glass, minerals and metals with organic polymers like thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers. As a clear or slightly yellowish liquid with a viscosity of 4.0-8.0 mPa·s, it is suitable for surface treatment of minerals, glass fiber reinforcement, priming of glass and metal, and as a surface modifier for organic materials. It can be diluted with distilled water and processed at elevated temperatures and near ignition sources or static charge. It offers increased product and processing reliability without volatile organic constituents, flexibility in processing at elevated temperatures, and environmental protection through hydrolysis without volatile organic substance liberation. These properties make it well-suited for applications where high performance adhesion between inorganic and organic materials is required.
