SIPERNAT 820 A is a sodium aluminum silicate with a high level of whiteness and reduced coarse particles. It is highly recommended for partial substitution of white pigments in emulsion paints, as a matting agent for silk glossy paint systems and as a filler in printing inks. SIPERNAT 820 A has beneficial effects on reducing possible ink bleeding, the printability, smoothness and friction coefficient. It can enhance pitch control. SIPERNAT 820 A provides opacity, smoothness and printability. Being inert, it also improves the durability of coatings. It can be used as an extender and filler, aiding in uniform coverage and hiding power. With low moisture absorption, SIPERNAT 820 A maintains the integrity of coatings on exposure.
