TECOTHANE TT-1069D

TECOTHANE TT 1069D is a medical grade aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore hardness of 69D. It has good mechanical properties like a flexural modulus of 44,000 psi and tensile strength of 8,800 psi making it suitable for applications in the advanced materials industry. Being a TPU, TECOTHANE TT 1069D also offers benefits like good chemical resistance and the ability to be color matched. It can be processed via extrusion and injection molding. Due to its high flexural modulus and tensile strength, TECOTHANE TT 1069D is well-suited for applications requiring durability and mechanical strength like medical tubing, catheters and other medical devices used in the advanced materials sector.
