DESMODUR Z4470 BA

DESMODUR Z4470 BA is an aliphatic polyisocyanate that provides excellent properties for lightfast polyurethane coating systems. As the hardener component, DESMODUR Z4470 BA delivers high resistance to chemicals and weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties ideal for exterior applications. It has a NCO content of 11.9% and non-volatile content of 70% making it suitable for various solvent-borne coating formulations. DESMODUR Z4470 BA also works well when added to alkyd spray coatings, accelerating the drying process. Its good solubility in common solvents allows easy integration into different coating systems. The high hardness of DESMODUR Z4470 BA combined with other Desmodur products provides durable, long lasting coatings suitable for construction elements and infrastructure exposed to harsh exterior environments.
