SURFYNOL 465

SURFYNOL 465 is a nonionic surfactant that functions as a dynamic wetting agent. It contains no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). SURFYNOL 465 enables wetting of particles and substrates, has several global food contact compliances and is stable in most high electrolyte systems. It can be used between 0.1-2% of total formulation weight. SURFYNOL 465 allows for low-foam reduction of surface tension, aiding the wetting and flow of coatings. Its ability to prevent smut formation also benefits related applications. SURFYNOL 465 contains no added siloxanes, silicones or fluorosurfactants, making it suitable for industries where such components need to be avoided.
