MONDUR 501

Mondur 501 is an isocyanate-terminated (MDI) polyester prepolymer used in various applications. It has a NCO content of 18.7-19.1% and viscosity range of 1,050-1,450 mPas. Mondur 501 appears as a light yellow viscous liquid with specific gravity of 1.20. It can be stored between 24° to 35°C for maximum shelf life of 6 months. Mondur 501 offers benefits like flexibility, adhesion and durability. These properties make Mondur 501 suitable for applications that requires tough, seamless surface like protective coatings for infrastructure. Mondur 501 can form elastomers providing elongation and tear resistance in coatings. Its reactivity allows quick curing even at sub-ambient temperatures beneficial for applications.
