MULTRANOL 8162

MULTRANOL 8162 is a sucrose-based polyether polyol used in manufacturing. It shows excellent compatibility with a wide range of materials including polymers, blowing agents and other additives. MULTRANOL 8162 has a hydroxyl number of 398-422 mg KOH/g and viscosity range of 2,800-4,400 mPas making it suitable for various applications. Its clear and viscous properties along with low water content of 0.12% wt makes it well suited for applications involving polymers and composites manufacturing. MULTRANOL 8162 can be used as a general purpose polyol and shows good compatibility with advanced materials systems delivering benefits like improved mechanical properties, heat resistance and durability.
