MICA C-3000

MICA C-3000 is a high aspect ratio micronized mineral product mined and processed in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. MICA C-3000 has a mean particle size of 25 microns and aspect ratio of 85, making it well suited for applications requiring reinforcement and greater resistance to moisture, heat, light or chemicals. As a platy mineral, MICA C-3000 offers beneficial rheological properties and is chemically inert. It is specified to brighten the tone of colored pigments and to offer decorative effects. These properties render MICA C-3000 an excellent functional mineral for industries where improved barrier properties, adhesion, reduced cracking and increased stiffness, heat resistance, dimensional stability and electrical insulation are required.
