CROSSLINKER 190

CROSSLINKER 190 is a crosslinker for vinyl-functional silicone polymers. CROSSLINKER 190 is poly dimethyl siloxanes comprising SiH groups in the polymer chain. Used in polyaddition silicones. It is available with different viscosity levels and SiH contents. Other SiH contents and viscosity levels can be delivered upon request. When working with two-component silicone formulations, it must be ensured that Pt-catalyst (e. g.Catalyst 500 series) and SiH cross-linkers are kept strictly separated. Single-component addition silicones, for which specially protected catalysts (e.g. Catalyst XP 2471) are used, represent an exception. In general, the composition must be selected so that the total formulation contains approximately a double molar excess of SiH groups as compared with vinyl groups.
