TROYMAX ZINC 16 is a zinc salt produced from a blend of synthetic acids assuring product stability and uniformity for various technical applications. As a zinc soap, TROYMAX ZINC 16's principal function is to improve film hardness in coating formulations. This allows the film to remain open for longer, permitting hardening throughout the entire film and preventing wrinkling of thick films. The antioxidant properties of TROYMAX ZINC 16 also provide benefits when used in lubricants and other polymer systems. TROYMAX ZINC 16 is well known for its exceptional pigment wetting properties, important for ensuring coatings and materials are evenly and fully covered. With a normal use level between 0.05-0.2% metal content based on resin solids, TROYMAX ZINC 16 helps deliver robust, wrinkle-free protective films with resistance to degradation.
