DYNASYLAN® 1122 is a secondary amino-functional ethoxy silane designed with two symmetric silicon atoms, offering versatile functionality across various applications. Acting as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials like glass, metals, and fillers, and organic polymers such as thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers, it enhances surface modification and enables chemical substance modification. Presenting as a colorless to yellow liquid with an amine-like odor, it exhibits solubility in alcohols, aliphatic, or aromatic hydrocarbons. DYNASYLAN® 1122 significantly enhances product properties including flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength, and modulus of elasticity, while also improving processing properties like moisture and corrosion resistance. Widely utilized as a primer or additive in adhesives and sealants, as well as an additive and primer for enhancing substrate adhesion in paints and coatings.
