MICA-MU M2/1

MICA-MU M2/1 is a white dry ground muscovite mica product from Imerys. It has a median diameter of 6um and 17.4um D95 size making it one of the finest mica products on the market. As a filler, MICA-MU M2/1 can provide benefits in advanced material applications. Its whiteness of Y 74.6 and L*(CIE) 88.6 makes it suitable for producing bright white advanced materials. Its narrow particle size distribution ensures homogeneity and consistency in advanced material formulations. MICA-MU M2/1 has a B.E.T of 4.9 m2/g and density of 2.8 g/cm3 providing reinforcement at low loadings. Its high purity of 51% SiO2 and 32% Al2O3 content makes it well-suited for producing advanced materials with enhanced properties.
